The track by this post-rock band from Iceland was released on their 2005 album Takk (which is icelandic for ‘Thanks’). I think the best way to introduce the song would be by explaining its title - literally it means ‘glowing sole’, which could be translated as a childlish way of saying ‘glowing sun’ or ‘let the sun glow’. And it’s just magical as the sound of it. If you let yourself throw backs all the thoughts that might be occupying your mind right now, put your headphones on, close your eyes (I mean it, do that) and press play, there’s a big chance you’ll get lost in these sounds. In the best possible way.
